Hi, I’m Ale!
Founder of PhysiALEgy and The Ale Archive.
I created PhysiALEgy out of my love for teaching, learning, and a desire to create the sciences more accessible — especially for those with a non-traditional background like myself.
I graduated with a BA Honours in Political Science from the University of Calgary in 2022. Shortly after, I was admitted into a PhD program in Political Science & International Relations, where I realized it wasn’t the path meant for me.
I pivoted and began relearning the sciences I hadn’t touched since high school — and quickly realized there had to be a better, more intuitive way to understand them.
I earned my Diploma in Practical Nursing (Honours with Distinction) from Lethbridge Polytechnic in 2025. Since then, I’ve spent over 2 years tutoring college-aged students. In addition, I bring 7+ years of experience working with children of all ages, including those with disabilities and developmental delays.
I focus on making complex concepts easy to digest — regardless of your background — because learning should be accessible to everyone.
